Reflections
What are the best aspects of being a teacher?
Getting to know the children and their families; being part of each students' growth throughout the year; working with excellent colleagues and leadership
What is one small delight in the day that you always look forward to?
Saying 'Good Morning' to my students.
What are you most proud of to date in your teaching career?
That I came back after a 20 year break.
What was the nicest gift that you received from student/parent/colleague?
Every gift is special, from the handwritten 'You are the best teacher in the world Mrs Nichol' to the beautifully wrapped gift from a parent. But the gifts that show that people have taken the effort to get to know you are always the most touching.
What are your strengths? Which are you most grateful for?
I hope that I make each child feel loved, valued, special and that they can achieve success. I am grateful for my creativity and passion.
